To celebrate International Day of Slayer on June 6, the thrash metal legends have once again partnered with Igloo on a new cooler collection. Igloo’s South Of Heaven-themed coolers will feature the iconic artwork and images from Slayer’s legendary death metal album, joining last year’s Reign In Blood-focused coolers. Available on June 6, Slayer and Igloo’s South Of Heaven KoolTunes is a jet black Playmate cooler that includes built-in wireless, water-resistant Bluetooth speakers and graphics from the band’s fourth studio album, with other cooler varieties available in the coming weeks. Jon Sinko, global VP of partnerships and licensing at Igloo said: “I’ve been a big fan of Slayer since the late ’80s. Last year, we launched our Igloo partnership with the band by releasing a Reign In Blood-focused collection. So, this year, it only made sense for us to balance things out with South Of Heaven.” (Blabbermouth)
