Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators will release the flagship album from Gibson Records — an offshoot of Gibson Guitars and BMG. No title or release date for the collection has been announced.

Slash said in a statement, “It’s an honor to be the first release on the new Gibson Records. It’s a zenith in our partnership for sure and having worked so closely with Gibson for so long, I know they will be a label that genuinely supports their artists creatively. Not just me, but all the artists they choose to work with. It’s perfect.”

Myles Kennedy and Slash have been writing together for over a decade, and Slash told us he trusts in what his singer comes up with: “I remember we were doing Apocalyptic Love and he sat me down and wanted to talk to me about some lyric and if I would help him on something. And I was like, ‘Y’know what? You’re fine (laughs) on your own, you don’t need my help.’ And so ever since then, y’know, it’s always been like, whatever he’s gonna come up with, I know Myles well enough, it’s really not a question that I have, y’know, as to what the content of the lyrics is gonna be.”
