Slash performed Guns N’ Roses‘ deep cut “Don’t Damn Me” from the Use Your Illusion album for the first time.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the performance took place in Mexico City on January 23rd.
Apparently, the song was never performed before because it has “too many words.”
During a 2014 interview, while sharing why the GNR track was never performed, Slash said, “You know, it’s a cool song and everything. I think even with Axl Rose, we never did it because it was just too many words without a breath, and it just makes it really impossible to do it live.”
