Poison drummer Rikki Rockett revealed he’s tested positive for Covid-19, despite being fully vaccinated. Ultimate Classic Rock reported Rocket, who’s successfully battled throat cancer in recent years, took to YouTube to address fans, explaining that his son first tested positive before he himself started feeling ill — suffering from a runny nose, dry mouth, chills, and soaking wet sweats.

Rockett said, “Guess what: I’m vaccinated. I’m fully vaccinated, and I’ve been vaccinated for months. I don’t know if this is the delta variant, but every physician I’ve spoken to said it has every hallmark of being the delta variant.”

The drummer, who’s now nearly symptom free, went on to say that his previous health issues may have made him more susceptible to the virus, and adding: “You’re probably thinking to yourself, ‘Vaccinated and you still got COVID. Do you feel like an idiot for getting vaccinated?. No. The reason I don’t feel that way is because I know that this would be way worse, especially if it was the delta variant.”
