Paul McCartney has just uploaded a new 10-song Spotify playlist on his official PaulMcCartney.com site. Every month McCartney posts a new tracklisting with a specific theme. With the publication later this month of Linda McCartney‘s Family Cookbook, as well as the 30th anniversary and the meatless Linda McCartney Foods line, the June playlist spotlights some of Paul — and Linda’s — most notable family and food-oriented tracks.

Paul McCartney told us that many of the reasons that kept people from going vegetarian in the past have been proven to be unfounded: “There are plenty of veggie alternatives on the market — there’s some fantastic products these days. Y’see, my mum was a nurse, and she would’ve said to me — I know, sort of way back in the ’50s, ‘Oh, you won’t get your protein’ — that was not true. There’s millions of ways of getting protein; and particularly the great products on the market these days.”

Linda McCartney’s Family Kitchen, written by Paul, Mary, and Stella McCartney will be published on June 24th.
