Lindsey Buckingham has just tagged seven new cities onto his growing fall tour. The ousted-Fleetwood Mac guitarist will now also be hitting Bristol and Nashville, Tennessee; Nashville, Indiana; York, Pennsylvania; Annapolis, Maryland; Durham, North Carolina; and Augusta, Georgia.
One of the highlights of the current shows is Buckingham’s solo acoustic rendition of the band’s 1987 hit “Big Love.” He said that introducing that arrangement into the Fleetwood Mac shows back in 1997 helped change the face of his current music: “I started to become more and more intrigued about the work you could do from a single guitar. Y’know, over the last maybe 10 years or so, that’s something that I’ve just kind of been looking at and trying to refine. And part of that probably is a reaction to having had to adapt out some of the style that I have naturally.”
