Coming on March 11th is the second release on Kiss‘ official live bootleg series, “Off The Soundboard,” with Live In Virginia Beach. uDiscovermusic.com reported the show was taped on July 25th, 2004 at Virginia’s Virginia Beach Amphitheatre and will be will be available as a triple-LP standard black or limited edition green vinyl set, a two-CD set, digital downloads, and available to stream.

The 20-song concert was part of the band’s “Rock The Nation” tour, which was the first to feature the current lineup of Kiss — co-founders Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons along with lead guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer.

Gene Simmons explained that no one puts more into their performance than Kiss does: “I wear seven, eight-inch platform boots. Our outfits — mine, I don’t know, weighs at least about 40 pounds. I gotta spit fire and fly through the air and do all that kind of stuff; so if you put (Mick) Jagger and Bono — who are both great — in you stick ’em in my outfit, they’d pass out in a half-hour. We are the hardest working band in show business period.”

Kiss kicks off a 17-date tour of Down Under and South America on March 19th in Melbourne, Australia.
