Set for release on October 21st is Judas Priest – 50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music, a new limited edition box set, which includes every official live and studio album to date, plus 13 unreleased discs.

Out now is a previously unreleased live track, recorded on June 21st, 1986 at The Summit in Houston — “Hellion/Electric Eye” — from the Turbo “Fuel For Life” tour. A “Reflections Edition” of the box set will also be available to purchase in CD and two-LP formats.

Frontman Rob Halford told us a while back that Priest wouldn’t have sustained such a lengthy career without the support of their fans: “It’s an ongoing metal love affair that’s been solid and kept us going and motivated, quite frankly. Bands don’t exist without the people that support them, and so it is with Priest, y’know? Without our fans we’re nothing, so we love our fans dearly, and we do as much as we can to keep that bond strong and solid.”
