In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, KISS’ Gene Simmons talked about Paul Stanley’s positive Covid-19 test and his over-all health. He said that he felt fatigued and his voice wasn’t “up to it.”

“He’s gonna be great because he got vaccinated. He’s gonna be fine. The nature of this vaccine is that it protects you from going and having tubes down your throat and possibly dying. So you can still get it.”

He asked fans to send Paul Stanley their best wishes. And said that since they found out while on the road, the band members are all quarantined in a hotel.

Simmons went on to urge people to please get vaccinated, and wear their masks, especially in public. And reminded people to wash their hand and said, “do all the right stuff.”

As for whether Paul will have to quarantine for at least 10 days, thereby forcing the cancelation of even more KISS shows, Simmons said: “You know what? I won’t comment on it because I don’t know the specifics. We’re waiting on the doctors to tell us exactly what we can and what we can’t do.”

Everyone on the road with KISS has been fully vaccinated. So far, Paul is the only one who has tested positive.
