Foo Fighters have just dropped their video for “You Should Be Dancing,” ahead of their upcoming Bee Gees‘ covers collection, titled, Hail Satin. The album, set for release on Record Store Day — July 17th — features one side billed to the Dee Gees, covering five Bee Gees and Andy Gibb classics, with the flip side containing five live tracks from the band’s latest album, the chart-topping, Medicine At Midnight.
Blabbermouth quoted Dave Grohl as recalling the session for “You Should Be Dancing”: “We started recording the instrumental track, and then I thought, ‘Okay, well, I’m gonna go out and sing it. . .’ and let me tell you, I have never, ever in my life sung like that, but it was the easiest song I have ever sung in my entire life! I sang the song, and it was like six minutes and I was done. I should have been singing like this for the last 25 years!’”
Foo Fighters will next perform on July 17th at The Forum in Los Angeles.
