Out now is a new video for “Don’t Tell Me,” Disturbed‘s collaboration with Heart‘s Ann Wilson from its 2022 album “Divisive.” The song was released as a single during November, peaking at No. 14 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. The video, meanwhile, features shots of Wilson and the four Disturbed members performing the songs, along with images of a couple dancing together. Guitarist Dan Donegan tells us that collaborating with another artist has been rare for Disturbed and that the band was happy to have Wilson be its first:
“That was such a huge moment, ’cause throughout our career we haven’t done that with any other artist. To have her, this living legend, it was a badge of honor. It’s not like she does this with many people, especially with a hard rock band like us. She had a great deal of respect for what we’re doing. We wanted to make the process easy for her, so we just worked around her schedule.” SOUNDCUE :30
“Divisive,” which is Disturbed’s eighth studio album, was released during November of 2022. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums and Digital Albums charts, and at No. 3 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
*”Don’t Tell Me” is the fourth single from the album. “Hey You” and “Unstoppable” were both No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart, while “Bad Man” was No. 2.
Disturbed kicks off a new U.S. tour on January 19th in Peoria, Illinois, wrapping up March 3rd in Las Vegas.
