Cruise to the Edge, the prog rock-focused cruise festival, has just shared their 2025 music lineup. King Crimson’s Robert Fripp is set to headline the cruise, along with his longtime collaborator David Singleton. Legendary YES keyboardist Rick Wakeman is also a featured performer, along with onetime Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett. The event is named after the celebrated YES album, Close to the Edge. The rest of the lineup is rounded out by prog-inspired acts the Aristocrats, IQ, the Von Hertzen Bros., Leprous, Caligula’s Horse, Beardfish, Trifecta, Karmakanic, Temic, Lari Basilio, Pure Reason Revolution, and the Beggs Sisters.

The Norwegian Gem cruise ship sets sail from Miami from April 4th through 9th, with planned stops at Puerto Plata and Great Stirrup Cay. Jon Kirkman, Roie Avin, and Mike Dawson will serve as cruise hosts, leading Q&A sessions with the artists, along with photo opportunities for the guests with the prog rock legends.
