Bruce Springsteen has tapped his May 17th, 2005 solo show at Upper Darby, Pennsylvania’s Tower Theater as his latest archival release. The new Tower Theater 2005 collection is Springsteen’s fifth pick from the solo 2005 trek behind his Devils & Dust collection, having previously issued concerts from Trenton, New Jersey; Columbus, Ohio; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Stockholm, Sweden.

Highlights on the set include such tour rarities as the show-opening “My Beautiful Reward,” “Iceman,” “Incident On 57th Street,” “Part Man, Part Monkey,” “Wreck On The Highway,” “Real World,” “Further On (Up The Road),” and “Ramrod.”

Bruce Springsteen, who recently wrapped his latest run of Springsteen On Broadway dates, is hoping to be back on the road with the E Street Band in 2022. During a recent chat with The Bellissimo Files, Bruce Springsteen explained the feelings behind what it takes to be a performing entertainer: “The stage is a unique place; it’s pretend, first of all. So, you’re making believe — though, you’re trying to experience and communicate authentic emotion. And you present a picture of a world and a life that your audience enters with you, where you communicate and experience a set of common values and dreams and interests with the people that you’ve been in conversation with for 40, or 45 years — or with some of them, only five years, or for the first time that night.”
