Poison frontman Bret Michaels has announced a second summer of his Parti-Gras package tour, this time featuring former Foreigner frontman (and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee) Lou Gramm, Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider, ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder and country singer Chris Janson, who Michaels joined for an episode of CMT Crossroads during December.
The six dates kick off July 12 in Noblesville, Ind., and Michaels tells us fans can expect, well, nothin’ but a good time once again:
“What I think makes it come together, besides the friendship and the chemistry, is you mix it with this, the timeless classic hits and a lot of energy, and I think that’s what it is. It’s hit songs. People feel like they’re having a great time. They’re singing. There’s no bathroom breaks.” :20
In addition to the music Parti-Gras 2.0 will hand out party beads and bandanas to fans and offer contest winners the chance to join the acts on stage, under Tiki-style umbrellas.
The initial Parti-Gras during 2023 included Night Ranger, Jefferson Starship, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and onetime Journey singer Steve Augeri.
In conjunction with the tour announcement CMT is re-airing the Michaels-Janson Crossroads episode several times during the next week.
Tickets for Parti-Gras 2.0 go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on Feb. 16, with pre-sale opportunities and VIP packages available via BretMichaels.com.
