A never-before-heard country album from Brian Wilson will be released sometime next year.
According to a report from Rolling Stone published Tuesday (February 13th), the record – helmed by the 81-year-old music legend and Beach Boys manager Fred Vail – was shelved for over five decades.
Few details about the collaboration are available but the outlet reports the album, titled Cows in the Pasture, features production from Wilson and vocals from Vail. They first collaborated on the project in 1970 and included a roster of not-yet-revealed, star-studded guests.
Vail is currently finishing the album with the help of producer Sam Parker and Wilson as an executive producer.
