To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Beatles historic arrival in the United States in 1964, the band will rekindle Beatlemania by releasing a vinyl box set called, The Beatles: 1964 US Albums In Mono, on November 22. Seven Beatles’ albums that were originally released in the U.S. between January 1964 and March 1965 will be included in the box set. Each record is cut from the original mono master tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl, and includes faithfully replicated artwork along with new four-panel inserts containing liner notes written by U.S. Beatles historian Bruce Spizer. “Sixty years on, Beatlemania is timeless,” reads a press release on the collection. “The Beatles’ beacon is alight evermore, renewed with the wonder of each generation’s joyful discovery and in creative exploration of the band’s music and cultural eminence by musicians, filmmakers, writers, and other fans of all stripes.” (Louder Sound)
