Wilco have announced a brief winter tour featuring a series of multiple-night stands in a trio of cities. The Chicago rock group is reviving their Winterlude residency concept for the first time in five years, but instead of playing multiple gigs in their hometown, Wilco are hitting the road for a series of “FKA Winterlude” shows. The Winterlude tradition continues with no repeat songs between shows and no opening acts, just an evening with Wilco. The run starts with a three-night stand in Austin, Texas on December 5-7, followed by two shows in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 10-11, before finishing up with three nights in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 13-15. Wilco announced the tour with an Instagram post they captioned, “The shows FKA “Winterlude” are getting out of Chicago. ❄️ Wind down the year with Wilco in Austin, Tulsa and St. Paul. For a special evening (or two, or three) with the band featuring no opener and no repeats.” (Consequence of Sound)
