Dave Grohl revealed that he has fathered a newborn baby girl outside of his 23-year marriage. Grohl made the shocking announcement with an Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon (September 10). “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” Grohl wrote. “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Grohl has been married to his second wife, Jordyn Blum, since 2003, and the couple share three daughters together who were born in 2006, 2009 and 2014. Grohl’s first marriage was to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood back in 1994. The couple separated in December of 1996 and were divorced in 1997, with Grohl admitting to infidelity as the cause of their divorce.
