A famous bootleg recording of the Allman Brothers Band that has been passed around for years, is now officially and legally available to purchase.
The concert was April 7, 1972, on the campus of Syracuse University and happened about 6 months after Duane Allman died.
Available now in digital form, it was pulled from the source recording and has been remastered.
The band performed the show at the Manley Field House, the school’s indoor track and field facility. The 11-track collection titled… Manley Field House Syracuse University, features classics such as “Statesboro Blues,” “Midnight Rider,” and “Whipping Post.”
