Donald Fagen is out of the hospital following an unspecified illness, that forced Steely Dan to withdraw from several tour stops with the Eagles.

The exact nature and severity of Fagen’s illness has not been revealed. Although, the Indy Star noted that five members of the Eagles’ road crew tested positive for Covid. It’s unclear if Fagen was battling the same issue.

Fagen last performed Sept. 20 in Elmont, New York. Sheryl Crow stepped in to cover a couple of shows and now, Steve Miller is filling in as opening act.
