Jackson Browne has just announced a 41-date summer tour in support of his 2021 Grammy-nominated album, Downhill From Everywhere. Browne, who’ll be out on the road next month with James Taylor for an extended joint Canadian trek, kicks off his solo band summer dates on June 3rd in Maryland Heights, Montana at the Saint Louis Music Park — and eventually wraps things up on September 25th at Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Along the way, Jackson Browne will play a four-night run at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
Jackson Browne admitted to us that although he’s enjoyed his success and the accolades that have come with it, it’s never been why he’s made music: “You still have to make art, whether anybody knows what you’re talking about or not. Aside from wanting to conduct business in a responsible way — sell as many records, reach as many people as you can — the point is not to sell as, y’know, just to move as many units as possible. The point is, for me, has always been, ‘Do something that I like.’”
