Due to the ongoing pandemic, Billy Joel has been forced to postpone his January 14th concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Billy posted a message to fans on Facebook, which reads, “Nothing is more important to me than the safety and well-being of my band, crew, and the fans; so due to unfortunate COVID-related circumstances, we made the decision to reschedule the January 14th concert at MSG.”

The rescheduled date is now set for August 24th. So far, that’s the only show on the itinerary to be postponed.

An official statement was released which reads in part:

Please be advised that the upcoming Billy Joel concert originally scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, May 2, 2020 that was postponed to Friday, January 14, 2022 has now been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

Your tickets will be valid for the new rescheduled show date on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 and will not need to be exchanged.

If you cannot commit to the rescheduled show date, you can request a refund anytime over the next 30 days, beginning today. If a refund is not requested during the allotted time, tickets will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled show date.
