Goo Goo Dolls have just added 14 new cities onto their already announced 2022 summer shed tour. The updated schedule sees the band now kicking things off on July 15th in Nampa, Idaho at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater and wrapping up with a hometown gig in front of over 19,000 fans on September 24th at Buffalo, New York’s Keybank Center.
Back in June, the band dropped a new side compilation, titled, Rarities, and is currently hard at work on its still-untitled 13th studio album.
Frontman Johnny Rzeznik told us that writing songs has always been second nature to him and — luckily — has never felt like a chore to him: “Generally, it just all comes from a free-form thing. You just sit down and play, and, like, love playing. You just sit down and free-style on the guitar for a while and not try to make a song and just enjoy that you’re playing the instrument. And then things comes out of it.”
