The U.S. premiere of Peter Jackson‘s The Beatles – Get Back brought out even more of the extended Beatles family. On November 18th at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre, John Lennon‘s sons Julian and Sean Lennon, Paul McCartney‘s daughter Stella McCartney, and George Harrison‘s widow Olivia Harrison represented the Beatle brood stateside.

The premiere followed last week’s London screening, which saw Paul McCartney, George Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison, and Ringo Starr‘s sons Zak and Jason Starkey in attendence.

Stella McCartney posted a shot of her and Julian and Sean Lennon in the theater calling them her “brothers from another mother.”

A clearly emotional Julian Lennon wrote, “Amazing night, firstly seeing ‘Get Back’ & then Stella’s Event afterwards…The One True thing I can say about it all, is that it has made me so proud, inspired & feel more love for My/Our family, than ever before… And the film has made me love my father again, in a way I can’t fully describe…. Thank you to All who had a hand, in bringing this project to fruition… Life Changing”

Last week at the London premiere of Get Back, Ringo Starr’s son and Who drummer for the past 25 years, Zak Starkey, spoke about his dad and the original 1970 Let It Be movie: “He’s the greatest living rock n’ roll drummer– and that’s it with my dad. And he’s better now than he was then. Let It Be was withdrawn wasn’t it? That was a great movie. It’s very dark and heavy, but it’s a great movie. Y’know, there are four guys that know the truth and one of them’s not me.”

Peter Jackson’s six-part documentary, The Beatles – Get Back, rolls out over three days, November 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2021, exclusively on Disney+.
