The Eagles have announced a strictly-enforced vaccinated-only November 5th concert at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. The venue’s website issued a segment about prerequisites for attending the show, as well as an “FAQ” for concertgoers at the event.

The statement reads in part: “Guests must receive their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna COVID-19 or single dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the November 5th performance. The only exception is for children under the age of 12, who may provide proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test or full vaccination and are accompanied by a vaccinated adult.”

Why is the Eagles concert mandating vaccines?

The Eagles have decided that guests for their November 5th concert at Climate Pledge Arena need to be fully vaccinated. This is a decision taken by the band supported by the Climate Pledge Arena team to ensure they, along with fans and staff, feel safe.

What about children under 12?

The only exception is for children under the age of 12, who may provide proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test.

Will guests also be required to wear a mask?

This decision will be made in line with the local guidelines around mask wearing at the time of the concert.

How will vaccinations be verified?

Guests need to provide proof of full vaccination along with an appropriate ID matching the name on documentation. Documentation needs to be directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination, and must be displayed on your smartphone, or present a physical copy.

Will this policy apply to other concerts?

Currently this is the only concert scheduled at Climate Pledge Arena to mandate vaccines for guests.
