Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa‘s daughter Jessica Springsteen has failed to qualify in the Tokyo Olympics’ equestrian individual jumping finals, according to NME. Jessica, who is ranked in the world’s Top 15, will compete on Friday (August 6th) with her 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood stallion Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, in the team event in Tokyo.

According to the report, Springsteen needed to secure “a Top 30 finish in the individual class to confirm her place in today’s (August 4th) final.”

ESPN posted, “(Springsteen’s) horse ran into trouble at the 14-jump course’s 11th obstacle. The pair earned four penalty points after knocking down a rail, although Jessica’s score was high enough to keep her on the bubble. She was eliminated approximately one hour after riding.”
