A movie about the life of late Stone Temple Pilots lead singer Scott Weiland is in the works. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is called Paper Heart, and it is based on Weiland’s memoir called Not Dead & Not for Sale.

Dark Pictures and Orian Williams have acquired the book rights to the memoir, and Jennifer Erwin, a diehard Stone Temple Pilots fan and co-founder of Dark Pictures, will write the film’s script.

Weiland died in 2015 at the age of 48.
