At some point in your life I hope you sit down and ask yourself “Do I really want this?” I know that’s a broad statement, but let me break it down. If I asked you to get a tattoo on your face, yours truly would flip the bill and stuff $3,000 in your pocket. The two worst things you could tell me are “yes” or “no”. I would want you to think about what I asked you to do and then ask me questions. Because who knows, if you said “NO! I will not get a tattoo on my face!” The tattoo might have only been the size of a freckle and you missed out on the cash. On the other hand if “YES, I will get the tattoo on my face for the green” is your response, who knows what I would come up with.
The reason for me to bring up this topic is microchips in your hand. I just watched a video of a man that had a microchip implanted into his hand so stores could scan his hand (very much like smart phone tech) to withdraw money out of his accounts. It sounds cool and it is, well at first. But what happens if the chip breaks or someone scans his hand on the subway or the government wants to track him or….or…..or……..Okay I am freaking myself out.
I am a geek, I have tons for tech stuff. But do I want it in my body? Hell no! The only way I would put something like that in my body is if it was for some kind of medical purpose and I would die without it. Please just ask yourself “Do I really want this?” The next time you see something new. Also is it that hard to get out your wallet?
