I don’t want to point fingers, but if the date May 25, 1977 makes you excited you might just be a geek. It’s okay, I have been called a geek, nerd and dork. Why you may be asking? It’s all because of my love for “Star Wars”.
May 25, 1977 was the day the original “Star Wars” premiered. But May 4, or, “May the 4th Be With You” (if you will) is the day we celebrate all things “Star Wars.”
Over the years my collection has grown. I have way to much stuff to talk about, but just to let you know if you come over to my house you will see the affect of “Star Wars” on my day to day life. From posters and light sabers to three feet tall action figures in my office. A Millennium Falcon bottle opener to Boba Fett drinking glasses in the kitchen. Heck, I even have soap that looks like the Death Star in the bathroom.
If you are a super fan of the flicks or just a Nerf Herder take some time today and do something “Star Wars” related. As for myself I took the day off work and I am doing a movie marathon, I-VII. Wish me luck. May the Force be with you.
This picture is my lady (carting our son in her belly) and I at midnight the day Ep.VII merchandise hit store shelves.
